Subrang Arts present

Subrang Arts returns to the Palace with a brand-new adaptation of Kalidas' classic Indian poem Shakuntala. Shakuntala faces a challenging life: abandoned in a forest as a baby, then forgotten by her husband, King Dushyanta, due to a curse placed upon her. Facing the prospect of raising her son alone, she learns to gain the strength she needs and raises her son Bharat to become the first emperor of India.

This spectacular dance drama in Hindi with English subtitles, features a cast of over 40 performers, who will bring the endearing characters alive and cast a spell of rare classical charm.
