Elton John's Glasses Community Open Day
Next Sunday on the 10th September we will be opening our doors for our Elton John’s Glasses Community Open Day!
Join us from 12pm-5pm for an afternoon full of memories of Watford in the 80s and 90s, from the 1984 cup final to memories of the High Street.
12pm-5pm, Foyer: free open exhibition, including objects and photos on loan from the museum
12pm-5pm, Hospitality Room: University of Hertfordshire Heritage Hub interactive booth
12pm-1.30pm, 3pm-5pm, Studio: Podcast recording sessions
2pm-3pm, Auditorium: Community sharing with members from Watford Writers and West Watford Community Centre
3.20pm-4pm: Q&A session with Psyche Stott, Director of Elton John’s Glasses
Our community sharing in the auditorium is free but must be booked for. Free backstage tours will also be given throughout the day at 12:30pm, 3.15pm, and 4.15pm, with 4.15pm as an access friendly tour. Be sure to book for these in advance through our box office on 01923 225671.
