Dick Whittington Postponed to 2021

25 September 2020

Like theatres up and down the country, we have had to take the difficult decision to postpone our 2020 pantomime Dick Whittington and His Cat, due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

BUT we will be saving our scrumptious production for you until 2021. We are pleased to confirm all performances will be rescheduled to the closest equivalent performance in the Christmas 2021 season and booking will open in the new year. If you have purchased or reserved tickets, we will be in contact shortly via phone or email.

However, we are absolutely determined not to cancel Christmas 2020!

This December, we invite you to join us for Christmas at the Palace, a one-off season of festive film, comedy and theatre for all the family, with reduced ticket prices to help make Christmas a little easier. At the heart of our season of festive goodies is Dame Terry’s Very Merry Christmas, a specially created show hailing the return to the stage of Palace favourite Dame, Terence Frisch!

The full Christmas at the Palace programme and information on how to book tickets will be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we wish to assure audiences that your safety is our number one priority. We have been working carefully to make Watford Palace Theatre Covid-secure, with access around the venue compliant with social distancing guidelines, ensuring your safety and comfort during your visit.

As always, thank you for your love and support. We are a small team and your comments, donations and messages have been incredibly important to us all.

We will see you all soon!
