Christmas at the Palace 2020
3 November 2020
An update to our 2020 Christmas at the Palace season in light of the second national lockdown announcement.
We are already preparing our Christmas at the Palace season in December, and our team remain extremely positive and excited about it.
The announcement of a second national lockdown in November has meant some minor changes to our programme, but will not affect our production of Dame Terry’s Very Merry Christmas and our week’s run of Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, as well as comedy and a family friendly film screening. The show must go on!
To give our audiences peace of mind, we have adapted our cancellation policy: if a show is cancelled due to Covid, or individual audience members find they need to isolate or shield, we will provide a full refund - just get in touch with us and let us know.
Looking after the safety of our audiences and staff is our number one priority, with socially distanced seating in our auditorium, one-way systems throughout the building, timed entry slots into the theatre, regular deep cleaning, and sanitising stations added. We will be asking all audiences and staff to wear masks while moving through our building. You can read more about the covid-secure measures we have taken in our Frequently Asked Questions.
We’re making contingency plans to film some shows for streaming online, to ensure we can still offer our audiences joy and laughter at the festive season, even if lockdown is extended.
We can’t wait to get back to doing what we do best, and we’re looking forward to Christmas in Watford! Our Christmas at the Palace season is on sale now!
