In this powerful triple bill, internationally acclaimed choreographer Seeta Patel invites you to experience dance at its most visceral, spiritual and electrifying.

At the heart of the evening is her Olivier Award–nominated The Rite of Spring, a bold reimagining of Igor Stravinsky’s iconic score through the lens of Bharatanatyam.  Patel transforms this legendary work into something entirely new: a fusion of Indian classical dance and Western orchestral music that is “vibrant, bold, exciting” .  Performed by an exquisite ensemble of Bharatanatyam dancers, this is a Rite of Spring that pulses with collective energy, ritual and renewal, a spiritual reimagining.

Alongside this landmark production, discover Shree.  This solo Bharatanatyam performance, Shree, traces Mother Earth’s journey from creation to destruction, offering a contemplative reflection on her power, vulnerability, and enduring presence.

Through movement, rhythm, and expression, the work embodies Earth as the Divine Mother, one who gives birth to all life, nurtures and sustains it, and bears witness to both human wonder and human destruction. As the narrative unfolds, we see her transformation across time: abundant and life-giving, yet increasingly burdened, culminating in a plea for balance and renewal.

The evening concludes with an intimate Q&A, offering a rare opportunity to step inside the creative mind of Seeta Patel herself, to uncover the inspirations, challenges and lived experiences behind her work.

This is more than a performance.

It is a journey across cultures, across forms, across the boundaries of tradition and innovation.

Experience the rhythm. Witness the ritual. Discover Seeta Patel Dance.
